Ultra ProLite
The budget option. A 230 gram instrument for straightforward water applications between DN25 and DN600, with a built-in datalogger that exports to a spreadsheet over USB. If the job is clean water in ordinary pipe and you need a number you can defend, this is enough meter.

Ultraflux UF801-P
The performance meter. DSP signal processing with automatic Reynolds correction, PC connectivity with dedicated software, up to two months of unattended logging, an optional BTU energy kit, and a range of probe kits covering DN10 to DN1000 and temperatures to +140 °C.

Choosing between them
The UF801-P reaches further at both ends, so pipe size only rules the ProLite out rather than ruling it in. Below DN25 or above DN600 the UF801-P is the only option. In the DN25 to DN600 band where both work, the question is how demanding the job is.
