Ultra ProLite rental
The budget meter in the fleet. A pocket-sized clamp-on transit-time instrument for straightforward water applications between DN25 and DN600. Built in the UK, weighs 230 grams, logs internally and exports to a spreadsheet over USB.
Where it earns its keep
Straightforward water, ordinary pipe, a number you can defend, at $200 a week less than the UF801-P. Two sensor pairs cover the rental range: the 4 MHz pair for small bore and the 1 MHz pair up to DN600.

Where it is not the right meter: pipe under DN25 or over DN600, anything above +80 °C, deployments longer than a working day, thermal energy measurement, or any job where you want the data in dedicated analysis software rather than a spreadsheet. All of those are the UF801-P.
